Vorverkauf

Der Sauzipf Rocks Online-Ticketshop hat seit gestern Mitternacht geschlossen. Vorverkaufstickets können noch bis Donnerstag, 7. August 2008, in den bekannten Vorverkaufsstellen gekauft werden.

Neue Songs auf MySpace

Auf http://www.myspace.com/sauzipfrocks gibt es wieder neue Hörproben der auftretenden Bands.
Jetzt zum Anhören dabei: The Unseen, Torture Squad, The Bottrops, Folkstone, Karras und Zippo.

The Bottrops (Punkrock, D)
Deutschsprachiger Punkrock wie er „alle Zäune niederreißt und die versprengten Stämme der Unterhunde zusammenschweißt“! Hä!? Na gut, von Anfang an: Es war einmal eine Gruppe, die mir nichts, dir nichts derbe und sarkastisch des Weges daher terrorisierte. Wie der Phönix aus der Asche, so erhoben sich The Bottrops aus den Ruinen der Terrorgruppe und entschlossen sich 2006 gemeinsam die Kleingarten-Dosenpfandraunzer ins Visier zu nehmen. Eingängige Melodien, die durchaus auch Pogotauglichkeit an den Tag legen, sowie Refrains, die zum Mitgrölen einladen! Bam, Oida!

Folkstone (Folkmetal, I)
Der Bandname ist hier Programm - Folkstone spielen stimmungsvollen Folkmetal, der vor positiver Energie nur so strotzt. Mittelalterliche Harmonien und Metalriffs begleiten die klaren und übergeordneten italienischen Vokals. Das achtköpfige Kollektiv aus Bergamo bedient sich sämtlicher genretypischer Instrumente wie Dudelsack, Bombarde und Harfe, die den Metal gekonnt zusammenhalten. Sie bezeichnen ihre Shows als eine Mischung aus „extremer Mittelalter Metal Musik“, Feuerspielen und Bier. Also hoch die Krüge!

Misbegotten (Metal/Hardcore, A)
Diese „Mozartkugel“ wird so manchem im Halse stecken bleiben und das ist gut so, Klassik hören könnt ihr im Altersheim. Hier wird Hardcoremetal wie er sein soll geboten – Riffattacken, Doublebassergüsse, herzzerreißende Shouts und natürlich die Stomp-Hardcore-Einlagen. Die bereits seit dem Jahre 1993 bestehende Salzburger Combo hat eine sehr durchwachsene und ereignisvolle Bandhistory hinter sich und wer die Bands kennt, die sie schon supported haben (u.a. Obituary, Pro Pain u. Hatesphere), weiß, dass hier Profis am Werke sind. Misbegotten sind bereit fürs Sauzipf Rocks; seid ihr auch bereit für diese Ladung Metal?

Zone Six (Psychedelic, D)
Ihr habt schon von Area51 gehört, aber noch nichts von Zone Six? Also hat man euch auch erfolgreich getäuscht! Dies ist nämlich der wahre Ort, wo unirdische Wesen das äonenalte Rezept für den ultimativen Spacerock an uns Menschen, genauer gesagt an ein paar Leute in Berlin, weiter gaben. 1997 gegründet, haben sie schon für viele bewusstseinsvernebelnde und wahrnehmungsverzerrende Erlebnisse unter ihren menschlichen Eidgenossen gesorgt. Ob sie mit ihrer Musik auch unsere PA zum Schmelzen bringen oder lediglich euren Verstand, wird sich noch weisen; wir sind gespannt.

Abstract of the lineup

The Bottrops (Punkrock, D)
German-speaking punkrock like it "pulls down all fences and binds together all dispersed tribes of the underdogs" (transl. lyrics)! What the...!? Well, from the beginning: Once upon a time there was a group, terrorising coarsingly and sarcastically along the way, just like that. Like the Phoenix out of the ashes, The Bottrops rose from the ruins of the Terrorgruppe and in 2006 decided to focus on the allotment-can deposit-grousers. Catchy melodies, definitely with some pogo capability, as well as chorus lines invited to bawl along. Bam, Dude!

Folkstone (Folkmetal, I)
The band's name is programm here - Folkstone play moody folk metal, overflowing with positive energy. Medieval harmonies and metal riffs accompany the clear and superordinate vocals. The 8-person collective from Bergamo makes use of all genre-typical instruments like bagpipes, bombarde and harp, putting together the metal masterly. They referr to their showa as a mixture of "extreme medieval metal music", fire play and beer. So up with your mugs!

Misbegotten (Metal/Hardcore, A)
This „Mozart ball“ will get stuck in many a throat and it's good this way, you can listen to classical music in the old folks's home. An offer of hardcore metal as it should be - riff attacks, double bass effusions, heart-breaking shouts and, of course, stomp hardcore enclosures. The combo from Salzburg, founded already in 1993 has lived through a very up-and-down band history; and who knows the bands they have supported (a.o. Obituary, Pro Pain & Hatesphere), also knows that pros are operating here. Misbegotten are ready for Sauzipf Rocks; are you ready for this load of metal?

Zone Six (Psychedelic, D)
You have heard of Area 51, but not yet of Zone Six? So you too werde successfully deceived! This, you see, is the true place where extraterrestial entities gave the aeon-old receipt for ultimate space rock to the human race, more specific, to a bunch of people in Berlin. Founded in 1997, they have been responsible for many experiences which clouded the consciousness and distorted the perception of their human associates. If they also melt our PA with their music or just your mind, will be shown; we are eager.
