Orange Goblin (Rock, London)
„Only the strong survive, as the saying goes…“ and they prove that explicitly! The 4 men from the island just delivered their new album which - following the band's own opinion - combines all formerly taken paths. From greasy psychorock to cosmic doom - those gentlemen surely know how to coddle. Their impressive live presence and their uncompromising rock attitude guarantees a performance you will never forget. We are glad to be able to present you Orange Goblin - one of the hottest Sauzipf Rocks headliner so far!

End of Level Boss (Doom Rock, England)

The Londoners won't let themselves be hustled into a stylistic corner so easily - which is actually good. But what can be said about them unerringly is they have lots of courage for being different. As statet by the band, there music can be described as „Kyuss meets King Crimson“, others claim it is more like Chris Cornell on a Voivod sound carpet. Whatever, impulsive and as dry as a dead dingo's donger, their sound meets anyone who is willing to conquer the End of Level Boss!

To Kill (Hardcore, Rome)
The five "young Romans" play flawless hardcore which could - in this form - easily derive from the ravines of Brooklyn. Most band members have until now done their service in different great names of the italian hardcore scene and have been together as To Kill since 2004. In their home area meanwhile more than just an underground tip, they also have already honoured many middel-european stages - and now ours, too!

The Magnificent Brotherhood (Garage & Freak-Rock)
Their name busts many a concert poster (The Magnificent Brotherhood of Eternal Love & the Happiness's Close Companions) and they will bust your perceptionary limits! With awesome garage-freak rock and Farfisa-organ they normally inspire the Berlin crowd, this year we are looking forward to serving you this feast.

Drive by Shooting (Rock'n'Roll, Berlin)
Our further guests from Berlin don't make captives. Drive by Shooting play punkrock of the extreme noisy sort. Their 2-minutes-cracks leave no room for compromises and the rhythm is pushed through mercilessly. Who likes it snotty and has not been born to stand will surely rejoice. Simply a stainless thing...
Let's rock and roll!

Josiah (Psychedelic Rock, England)
Please bow, at best a few times... and there you go banging to the riff. Finest Fuzz Doom Rock is Josiah's handcraft, and they are truly mastery at it. The British caress every Black Sabbath fan with their riffing machinery, but also leave psychedelic friends not without a grin. Despite, or maybe just for the numerous comparisons to other bands, Josiah always were and will ever be a unicum!
Oil your neck and go!

D.A.M.N. (Death Metal, Braunschweig)
The death-combo from Braunschweig (Germany) has already shared stage with divers celebs of the scene (Grave Digger, Rage, Vader a.m.m). A sound swollen with emotion and german lyrics are there unmistakable brands. Thundering and pushing or more melodic deathmetal is topped off by impressively roaring front woman Toni. Let us drown together in D.A.M.N.'s gloomy, apocalyptic scenario and forget for a while the world around us.

Destruction of Violence
The Carinthians are known as Austria's most famous and purest thrash metal band. Already for 4 years in business, they could make much live experience so far - and you can feel it: Their riffs will kick your ass, the rhythmic sections shake you while the shouter will be bellowing the remaining strength out of your body. Destruction of Violence still have planned a lot for sure, but on their way up they also honour our stage.

Rotor (Stoner, Berlin)
Rotor conjure up such a bulky and luscious sound that it stirs every stoner-freak's blood. The mostly instrumental song-plants impress especially because of the comforting bass guitar and are sometimes even more cultivated by hypnotically seeming vocal parts. Nevermind which celebrity of stonerrock they are compared with, their music definitely has so much soul that they don't have to fear adjustments. Just let yourselves drift, the guys will do the rest...

Stoned Hedge (Villach)

Not for the first time the four gentlemen of Stoned Hedge will compliment the Sauzipf stage, and we are delightet every time. Established in 1994 and reformed in 1999 they have become one of the constants of Carinthian underground. They call raw mixture of metal and hardcore "Stonedcore“ or even more characteristicly „Carinthian Killergreen“.
Their pure energy will feed you...

Ultrawurscht
A hefty "wurst-core"-diet is offered here, this is for sure, because these guys don't think a great deal of cheese. Just like the munching habits is the taste in music - the knifes are set properly already for the slaughter. Ultrawurscht may always cast one blinking eye at you, but that is followed by a riff and doublebass thunderstorm, which is up to all the dodges. Let this sausage supper melt on the roof ofmahlezt your mouth, but don't forget to let your neck participate in this feast!

Sundust (Spittal)
Sauzipf Rocks is known for its cavorting weather, but with Sundust you can confidently leave your umbrella at home. With their voluminous stonerrock they alway seem to have a breeze of sun at their backs. The sound is warm and fuzzy and gets free from the loud speakers with terrific force. The five local matadors are just working on their first EP and are eager to blow their song monsters in the face of the Sauzipf audience once more!

Sertycon (Millstatt)
The young Carinthian Band produces very powerful melodic deathmetal, whereas they have not agreed on an exacter definition of their music among the band members so far. But since categorising every bit is essential to the open mind just like the desert needs sand...
When you consider the tight atmosphere in their creation you would hardly believe that in spring 2006 Sertycon has just written their first songs and shortly after performed their first gigs. This "home game" will sure be huge fun to all of us!

Apriaca (Kärnten)
For years this Carinthian Band - formerly known as "SNP" - has been drawing their drills of metal over the fields. In the beginning of 2007 their new album came up, revealing the new band name Apriaca at the release party. Their handcraft has it both: rhyme and reason, but most of all it has power. The melodic heavy metal, occasionally subtilized by rock and punk influences, is topped off by a powerful voice - everything is provided for the headbanger.

Toner Low
In case an optical impression represented their sound universe it would for a certainty be the wide, green fields of holland. Their epic and seriously heavy stonerdoom demands everything. Every track is a small but fine psychedelic trip on its own, which you can hardly flee from. Toner Low smoothly are capable of bringing their sound close to men and women in life performances where your neck hair will stand at end due to reverence.

Art Of Fear
Old school – an item which is often abused nowadays, but which fits this band perfectly. Powermetal in its purest and most uncomplicated form, for this the four guys from Vorarlberg (A) stand. No compromises, direct to the bone - this morale is proved not just at their studio takes, where they recorded their last album in only four days of live play. Also at this year's Sauzipf Rocks you may enjoy Art Of Fear and their metal attitude.
